Valorant skin prices: what skins cost in VP

Updated September 25, 2026

Valorant skin prices follow the tier the skin belongs to: Select costs 875 VP, Deluxe 1,275 VP, Premium 1,775 VP, Exclusive 2,175 VP and Ultra 2,475 VP in most regions. The tier is the colour band shown on the skin in the store and the collection. Bundles, the Night Market and local currency are what push the price away from that list.

Prices by tier

Almost every weapon skin sits in one of five tiers, and the tier sets the price. This is the ladder from cheapest to most expensive:

  1. 01Select — 875 VP, the entry tier.
  2. 02Deluxe — 1,275 VP, a small step up.
  3. 03Premium — 1,775 VP, the most common tier for full reworks.
  4. 04Exclusive — 2,175 VP, high-end skins with custom effects.
  5. 05Ultra — 2,475 VP, the top tier and the rarest to see in a bundle.

How to tell a skin's tier at a glance

In the store and in your collection, every skin carries a tier colour. Select is blue, Deluxe is green, Premium is purple, Exclusive is orange and Ultra is red. The colour is the fastest read on the price: if you know the band, you know the number.

The tier also predicts how much custom work a skin has. A Deluxe skin usually swaps the model and adds a fresh sound, while Premium and above tend to bring new animations, a finisher and a reload flourish. Ultra goes furthest and is priced accordingly.

Bundles versus buying skins one at a time

Most skins launch inside a bundle, and the bundle is deliberately cheaper than buying each piece on its own. A typical Premium bundle is priced like four skins plus the extras, so the fifth skin, the melee and the cosmetic add-ons come along for free.

That is why bundle buyers usually come out ahead on price but behind on choice. If you only want one skin from a bundle, you can wait and buy it individually once the bundle leaves the store, usually a few weeks later.

The trade-off is patience. Buying the bundle gets you everything immediately and often a limited melee that never returns, while buying singles later costs list price for exactly the pieces you want.

The Night Market and store discounts

The Night Market is a limited-time set of personal offers, usually six skins at a random discount. Those prices sit below the tier list, sometimes well below, which is why people wait for it before buying an older skin.

Your daily store can also discount individual skins as a featured offer. Anything bought through either route costs less than the list price, so your real spend drifts under the tier total over time.

Why prices vary by region

VP is sold in local currency, and the price of a VP pack is set per region, so the same tier can cost a little more or less depending on where your account lives. The VP numbers in this guide are the usual ones in most regions rather than a fixed global rate.

This also means two people comparing collections can disagree about what a skin cost without either of them being wrong. The tier is the constant; the currency is not.

See prices while you plan a card

VALODEX keeps a price for each skin as you add it, taken from the same store data the game uses. That is what lets a card show a price chip under every skin and a running total in the corner.

  1. 01Open valodex.app/create and add or import your skins.
  2. 02Open the output panel and switch on Skin prices, and Total spend if you want the sum.
  3. 03Remove a skin and the total drops; add one and it climbs.

Frequently asked questions

How much is the cheapest Valorant skin?
Select-tier skins are the cheapest at around 875 VP. Some free skins and battle pass items cost nothing directly, but they are not sold at a tier price.
Are melee skins more expensive than guns?
No. Knives use the same tier ladder as weapons, so a Premium melee costs the same as a Premium rifle. Limited melee skins that only ship inside a bundle are the exception, since you cannot buy them alone.
Do Valorant skin prices ever change?
Riot can adjust regional pricing or tiers over time. Treat these numbers as the current usual price rather than a permanent contract.
Why did I pay less than the listed price?
You almost certainly bought it through a bundle, the Night Market or a discounted daily offer. The tier price is the list price, not a record of what you spent.
Do chromas cost extra?
Variants and chromas are part of the skin or the bundle they came in rather than a separate store listing, so there is no extra tier price for them.
